This weeks weekend getaway destination was Deep Sea World, its a popular aquarium located in the village of North Queensferry. One of the main attractions is the 112 meter long transparent acrylic underwater viewing tunnel, which is one of the longest of its kind in the world.The curvature of the 6.5-centimeter (2.6 in) thick acrylic causes a de-magnifying effect on all of the creatures in the exhibit—roughly one third reduction. This means the above shark is 1/3rd more bigger than what it looks, and to add the guide mentioned that it's a small one. They also have services to allow diving with Sharks, but it costs a fortune!
