These are actually very small tiny flowers. They were arranged flourished in a nice sphere like arrangement. The shot is a crop of original and if you notice you can see the curve of the sphere arrangement at the extreme right and left ends with the flowers getting out of focal plane.

I am not very happy with the composition, its very tight plus i would have loved if the green flower stems were more visible. It's more of a limitation of the macro lens that i have that i attach over my zoom lens to convert it to a macro one. It then has a very specific distance in which it can focus so it was not possible for me to step back and get more of the subject in view. I guess now time to get a real macro lens :) (My wife will kill me if she reads this :P)
The shot was done in the Glasshouse of Royal Botanical Garden, Perfect place for Macro photography- no blowing wind; just one quirk that your lens will get fogged up as when you come in your gear is freezing with cold and acts as a magnet for the high moisture of the glasshouse. It took me a while to gather thoughts and find why its happening.

A view just opposite the Edinburgh castle. Scotland is abundant with such beautiful architectures, and when the weather is good it provides perfect light to photograph them.
Will appreciate the name of the building if any one can help on it.

Scott Monument
The first time i saw it it looked like an Alien ship landed on earth! Its a huge and beautiful monument.
The Scott Monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott (not to be confused with the National Monument). It stands in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, opposite the Jenners department store on Princes Street and near to Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station.
The tower is 200 feet 6 inches (61.11 m) high, and has a series of viewing decks reached by a series of narrow spiral staircases giving panoramic views of central Edinburgh and its surroundings. The highest viewing deck is reached by a total of 287 steps (those who climb the steps can obtain a certificate commemorating the event). It is built from Binny sandstone quarried in nearby Ecclesmachan. This oily stone was known to attract dirt quickly and was probably a deliberate choice to allow the Gothic form to quickly obtain the patina of age. Arguably the soot of Edinburgh's chimneys, in combination with smoke from the nearby railway line and Waverley Station perhaps over-egged the result, and it is now very hard to make out the numerous carved figures. Bill Bryson has described it as looking like a "gothic rocket ship"
